TangramShow kids how to play with tangrams, giving them puzzles/answers as neededJon Russell
Coin TossKids will be tossing quarters, trying to get them to land COMPLETELY in one box -- you just have to give the kids the coins and pick up stray coins
Modified Tic-Tac-ToePretty much tic-tac-toe, except you can only place where your dice roll says you place -- explain the game (we'll have an info sheet) and watch the kids
PongThe kids will be blowing the ping pong balls from one cup of water to the next cup of water -- they have to get to the last cup within a minute -- you'll have to refill cups and dry up the water
Chopstick GameShow kids how to use chopsticks, and give prizes depending on what they can pick up. An option in the game is to pick stuff up out of a large bowl of water, so you may have to refill the boll and dry up the place if needed
Bartering GameExplain and monitor the bartering game between little sibs and their big sibs -- we'll have an info sheet
Face PaintingPaint stuff on the kids faces! Preferably someone who has confidence in their drawing/face painting skills
PhotostationTake pictures of kids and their big sibs when they stop by the station
Boba serving (2 volunteers needed)1) scoop boba into cup; 2) pour in tea; 3) hand to kid; 4) keep your station clean
Lantern MakingShow kids how to make a simple lantern out of red envelopes! We'll have examples ready, and it's really easy to learn. If you're really awesome, we'll have you tie special chinese knots for the kids, so this may involve some extra (cutlural and fun) learning on your part.
Lantern Decorating/ Scrapbook DecoratingGive kids the art materials with which to decorate their lanterns (we will also have lanterns to give out) -- make sure the kids don't eat glue or stick things to the table.
