Question
Answer
Solved or pending?
For HW1 problem 2.15, the problem mentions handling the stack and frame pointers appropriately. Does this mean that we are required to use the frame pointer in our solution code or simply understand where it is conceptually and label it appropriately on our stack "pictures"? The reason I ask is that I came up with a solution that does not use the frame pointer. Thanks.
Yeah, I think you can just use $sp and $fp as stack and frame pointers in your code, and also label them in the stack "pictures". BTW, I'll be appreciated if you can add some proper comments behind your code line. That will be easy for me to read:)
